FULL BIOGRAPHY
With more than twenty years of experience in the legal profession, I have dedicated my career to helping attorneys manage complex legal matters and prepare cases for successful resolution. Throughout my career, I have supported attorneys in civil litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, insurance defense, family law, appellate practice, and regulatory matters.
My experience spans every stage of the legal process, including case evaluation, legal research, discovery management, motion practice, mediation, trial preparation, trial support, appellate proceedings, and complex regulatory matters. I take pride in providing organized, detail-oriented support that allows attorneys to focus on advocacy while maintaining confidence that the details are being handled effectively.
My path to the legal profession began with service in the United States Army Military Intelligence Corps, where I developed the discipline, analytical thinking, investigative skills, and attention to detail that continue to guide my work today. During my military service, I attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and studied Modern Standard Arabic.
I earned an ABA-Approved Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies, building a strong educational foundation for a career dedicated to supporting attorneys and law firms. Early in my legal career, I worked as an insurance defense litigation paralegal in San Antonio, Texas, assisting attorneys representing major national insurance carriers in civil litigation matters.
I later served as Senior Paralegal for one of the largest private law firms in Cochise County, Arizona. In addition to managing litigation support responsibilities throughout the firm, I worked closely with the firm's Senior Partner on family law and domestic relations matters, gaining extensive experience in divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support, modifications, enforcement actions, and other family law proceedings.
Prior to relocating to Georgia, I was licensed by the Arizona Supreme Court as a Certified Legal Document Preparer (CLDP), a credential awarded to qualified legal professionals authorized to prepare legal documents within the scope permitted under Arizona law. During my time as a CLDP, my practice focused primarily on family law and domestic relations matters.
Since 2017, I have worked with The Kennedy Firm, LLC in Clayton, Georgia, supporting attorneys in a wide range of Georgia Lottery Corporation Coin Operated Amusement Machine (COAM) regulatory, administrative, arbitration, transactional, receivership, and appellate matters.
Over the years, I have assisted with thousands of Georgia Lottery COAM arbitrations from initial filing through final resolution, including matters that proceeded through the appellate process. My experience includes legal research, discovery management, motion practice, hearing preparation, appellate support, and drafting appellate briefs.
I have also worked on Georgia Lottery COAM receivership matters, supporting attorneys through the unique procedural, operational, and regulatory issues that arise in court-appointed receivership actions. In addition, I have extensive experience assisting with COAM-related mergers and acquisitions, purchase agreements, due diligence reviews, license transfer actions, regulatory compliance matters, and drafting COAM Location Agreements.
I have drafted and contributed to numerous appellate briefs in COAM-related matters, including cases resulting in successful outcomes before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. This work has provided me with substantial experience in administrative law, appellate practice, statutory interpretation, and Georgia's highly regulated COAM industry.
From 2018 through 2026, I served as a Senior Plaintiff's Personal Injury Paralegal at a prominent Atlanta-based law firm, working directly with the firm's Senior Litigation Partner on complex personal injury and wrongful death cases. During that time, I collaborated extensively with attorneys, medical providers, expert witnesses, life care planners, vocational experts, and clients while managing litigation support through all phases of case development and resolution.
Today, as founder of Georgia Legal Support, I provide litigation support services exclusively to attorneys and law firms. Drawing upon decades of experience across multiple practice areas, I assist attorneys with legal research, discovery management, medical records analysis, document preparation, chronology development, appellate support, trial preparation, and specialized litigation projects.
I believe successful legal representation is built on preparation, organization, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Whether assisting with a single project or providing ongoing support, my goal is to become a trusted resource attorneys can rely upon when they need dependable, professional litigation support.
